01 Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Locked Pages mobile application ("App") provided by LPagesAppLabs / D.Badi ("we", "us", "our"). By installing or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and agree to be bound by these Terms.

02 Description of Service

Locked Pages is a local, on-device file encryption application. It allows users to encrypt and decrypt files using AES-256 GCM encryption. The App operates entirely offline. No files, passwords, or personal data are transmitted to our servers.

03 License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal or internal business purposes, subject to these Terms.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its source code
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App to develop a competing product or service
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels in the App
• Sublicense, sell, or transfer the App to any third party

04 User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• The files you choose to encrypt or decrypt using the App
• Remembering your encryption passwords — we cannot recover them
• Maintaining backups of your important files before encryption
• Ensuring your use of the App complies with all applicable laws
• Any consequences arising from loss of access to encrypted files

05 Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use Locked Pages to:

• Encrypt files containing illegal content of any kind
• Facilitate or conceal criminal activity
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Circumvent lawful law enforcement access to your own devices
• Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws

06 Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the App, including all intellectual property rights, are and will remain the exclusive property of LPagesAppLabs / D.Badi. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or brand elements.

07 Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
• The App will meet your specific requirements
• Any defects in the App will be corrected
• The App is free from vulnerabilities or security flaws

Use of cryptographic software involves inherent risks. You use the App at your own risk.

08 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LPagesAppLabs / D.Badi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data due to forgotten passwords
• Corruption or loss of encrypted files
• Any unauthorized access to your encrypted files
• Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the App

Our total liability to you for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

09 Updates and Changes

We reserve the right to update or modify the App and these Terms at any time. We will indicate the date of the most recent update at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10 Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

Upon termination, your license to use the App ceases immediately. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability shall survive termination.

11 Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and, where applicable, the national laws of the member state of your residence. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer protection rights you have under EU law.

Any disputes shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, you may use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged to participate in alternative dispute resolution but will make every effort to resolve disputes amicably.
