01 Who We Are

Locked Pages is a mobile application developed and operated by lpagesapplabs.com. We provide a local, on-device file encryption tool for iOS and Android.

02 Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit:

• Your name, email address, or any account information
• The files you encrypt or decrypt
• Your passwords or encryption keys
• Your device identifiers or IP address
• Location data of any kind
• Usage statistics, analytics, or behavioral data
• Any biometric data (fingerprint or face recognition)

03 How the App Works

• Your file is processed entirely in local device memory
• Your password is used locally to derive an encryption key via Argon2id (memory-hard KDF, 64 MB RAM, 3 iterations)
• The encrypted output is saved to your device storage
• No network connection is made during encryption or decryption
• The app functions fully offline — no server communication required

04 Third-Party Services

Locked Pages does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. The app is distributed via Apple App Store and Google Play, which have their own privacy policies.

05 Biometric Authentication

If you enable biometric unlocking, this is handled entirely by your device OS. Locked Pages never accesses, stores, or transmits your biometric data. We only receive a boolean confirmation that authentication succeeded.

06 Children's Privacy

Locked Pages is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you are under 18, do not use this application. Contact us immediately if you believe a minor has used the application.

07 Data Security

Since we collect no data on our servers, there is no personal data at risk from our end. The security of your files rests on the strength of your password and AES-256 GCM encryption.

08 User Acknowledgment

By installing and using Locked Pages, you explicitly acknowledge and agree that:

• You understand that forgotten passwords result in permanent, unrecoverable data loss
• You are solely responsible for remembering your passwords and maintaining backups of your files
• The developer has no access to your files, passwords, or encryption keys
• The developer bears no responsibility for any data loss resulting from your use of the application
• You use the application entirely at your own risk
• You have read and understood this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use

09 Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Because we collect no personal data, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete. However, we respect your rights under GDPR and CCPA. You may contact us to exercise:

• Right to access — know what data we hold (none)
• Right to erasure — request deletion of personal data
• Right to portability — receive a copy of your data
• Right to object — opt out of any data processing

10 Governing Law & EU Consumer Rights

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the European Union. If you are an EU resident, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

For dispute resolution, EU users may use the Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

11 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the application or applicable law. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the application after changes constitutes acceptance.
